I know everybody is back to school now, settling into their classes, seeing your friends, and making new friends. Here is my BIG QUESTION......
Are you reading any fun books in school that you want to share with me?
You all know how much I love reading. Sometimes my mom's friends tell her about books they've read and then my mom wants to read that same book too. Will you let me know what books you are reading and then I can read that book also?
My favorite books have lots of pictures. I LOVE looking at the pictures. Here is the book I am reading right now. The title of the book is DOG vs. CATS by Chris Gall. This is a great book with super pictures. I don't want to tell you the whole story, but the cats are awesome. The dog in the book reminds me of my daddy dog, Drew.
If you do read a book, let me know what the name of the book was. Then, tell me about your favorite part of the book and I will send you a special sticker for reading. You can email me …
It is time for my weekly book review. There are so many GGGGRRRREAT books out there, it is difficult to pick one to review each week. I want to review more than one!!
This week, my book review is on "Dragon was Terrible" by author, Kelly DiPucchio and illustrated by Greg Pizzoli.
What makes us choose a specific book to read? It can be a number of things. This week what caught my attention was the title of the book. I had to laugh out loud when I read it....Dragon was Terrible! Instantly, I wanted to read more.
The first page begins the story saying, "Dragon was terrible. Naturally, dragons have a bit of terrible in them because they are dragons after all." I laughed to myself (well, Rembrandt Blue, my cat besty, heard me too.) That is so true. Who isn't afraid of a dragon? I asked myself, "Why are we afraid of dragons? Well, because...they are dragons...duh!" This made me think a little. Hum, maybe we shouldn't think a…
This is Bling's buddy, Grit. He is a Belgium Malinois. I might be prejudice, but he is the most gorgeous Malinois I've ever seen.
Grit is 12 months old and is a sweetheart. Bling has known him since he was a baby. Sometimes she spends the night at his house. It is his turn to spend the night with Bling.
He has been a really good house guest. He has a cat so he has been good with Bling's cats. He is being really kind with Bling's red dog family. No surprise there since Bling's red dog family spends the night at Grit's house too. He has an interesting look when he is by Bling's chickens, so no walking Dr. Pepper for Grit!
