Hi friends, It is time for this week's book review.    I have a special treat for you.    We are reviewing an international book.  The name of this week's book is  A Mammoth in the Fridge.     The original title of the book was Un mammouth dans le frigo.   That is French for A Mammoth in the Fridge.   Totally cool!   The book was created by two individuals from France.  The story is written by  Michael Escoffier  and illustrated by Mattieu Maudet . The front inside book flap says the following, "If you find a mammoth in your fridge, there are two questions you should ask.  How did it get there?  and   How do you get it out?   Those are two very interesting questions.  I can tell you when you read the book, the questions will be answered.    In our story there is a little boy named Noah.   He discovers there is a mammoth in their refrigerator.  When he runs and tells his father, Noah's father thinks Noah is being silly.  Well, guess what...turns out there is a

Hi friends, It is time for this week's book review.    Since we have read 2 stories in the book about Harry, I thought it would be fun to review the third and final story in this book.   Of course the story is again about our cute little buddy, Harry the spotted dog.  The name of this week's story in the book is  Harry by the Sea.    The story is written by  Gene Zion  and illustrated by  Margaret Bloy Graham . . In this story, as usual, Harry gets himself into trouble.  This time, Harry is at the beach when the trouble starts.  Psssst....did you notice my beach hat and sunglasses?  I thought I would be in my beach gear for this book review.  Okay, back to our story.   Yep, Harry is in trouble.  At the beach, Harry just can't seem to do anything right.  He is so frustrated.  He runs away from his troubles only to be in more trouble.    His troubles keep getting worse.  Then, as if it is not bad enough, he can't find his family when he tries to return to them.

Hi friends, It is time for this week's book review.   Do you remember a few weeks ago we talked about a story book containing 3 stories about Harry the dog?   Well, I thought it would be fun to review the second story of this book.   Of course the story is about our cute little buddy, Harry.  The name of this week's story in the book is No Roses for Harry.   The story is written by Gene Zion and illustrated by Margaret Bloy Graham . If you remember the last story we read about Harry, you will remember Harry seems to get himself into trouble.   Well, Harry is going to get himself into trouble again in this story. The story starts out with the kids in Harry's family giving him a sweater that their grandmother had made for him.   Harry loved how it felt on.  The only problem was that the sweater had roses on it.  Now really, how could he wear a sweater with roses on it.  Harry was not happy.   Then, to make matters worse
